Still here on the Marina, but finally departing tomorrow. It will be a relief to leave at last. Shin is making us all look lazy with his cleaning and polishing, etc.
There was a briefing today on touring the Whitsunday Islands to the north, on the way to Airlie Point. We will anchor off one of them and maybe go ashore. We have all been here before so it's not a priority to any of us to stop and smell these particular roses.
Then on Tuesday we are booked into Abell Point Marina for a night, so as to have dinner with a friend from Melbourne, Eric who crewed on the first leg.
Then we will change marinas and meet up with other Melbourne friends who are here on a charter boat, should be fun.
After that we do the serious sailing up to Cape York and then round to Darwin by September 3 hopefully.
