Coffs Harbour, 29/6/2016

It was a leisurely start to the day, 9.00 when we lifted the anchor in Trial Bay after a wonderful night's sleep. Peter's breakfast of bacon and egg on toast went down well too.
The day started off warm and got warmer as the wind dropped, but we stilled managed to sail for an hour or two without the engine, what peace and quiet. It was a short journey to Coffs, only 35 miles, but a very enjoyable one. Whales of course, light winds, no waves and a moderate swell, as well as bright sunshine and amazing shore views of the mountains.

Tonight Peter and I went ashore and met up with a friend of his. We had a coffee in the restaurant strip just up from the harbour and then walked to the yacht club for a pleasant dinner. We returned to the dinghy and onto the boat. Dinghy lifted and returned to the foredeck and secured, and the outboard back on it's bracket on the  pushpit.

All well on board and an early start tomorrow to get to Yamba, about 60 miles north.
