Nearly done.
Today the de-salinator was delivered. There is a bit of stuff stored in its locker, so it wouldn't fit. That's easily fixed though.
I picked up the life raft and flares earlier in the week and they are on board. I also ordered all the paper charts to get me to CapeTown, I'll get more there to get to Dublin, and probably bring the first ones home again at Christmas.
The compressor has filled its first tank, took about 10 minutes, but then the tank was not empty.
I'm glad the storm conditions, 45+ knots over the last couple of days, have abated in time for the weekend activities, and the lift out on Monday too.
After BF is returned to the water it will be time to fuel up and clean up the inside. It's not too bad now, but it would be better to do a clean after the outside wax and polish.
I have been gradually putting a base stock of tinned and dried foods on board as well.
It's nearly time to depart at the end of the month with 4 of us on board, all friends from Sandringham YC.
