Compressor

Today the dive bottle compressor was christened successfully. It put 200 bar into a scuba tank. Yesterday I spent most of the day servicing the engine and generator. It wasn't so tiring when that's what I did every day! Of course I had to spend some time in the bottom of two deep lockers looking for a special oil pipe to suck the oil out, and of course I started in the wrong one! Food is gradually moving onto the boat, as is clothing and spare bits and pieces. All I have to do is remember where I put everything and then make a storage plan. Next up is a sail with some crew who haven't sailed on BlueFlyer before and then a Man Overboard drill with Wendy. Wendy is a life size dummy who weighs in at about 80 kilos when wet! This makes the drill a bit more lifelike than picking up a fender, just not as easy! Following that is a lift out to clean up underneath and wax and polish the topsides and deck areas. Then back in. Departure is in about 4 weeks time, it's getting close now.
