We are now in the wind zone and moving along quite well, 6.5 to 7.5 kts, with a double reef in the main and a few rolls in on the jib. The wind is more or less on the port beam, varying 20 to 25 kts. During the night it squalled up to 35/40 kts, so quickly reefed down the sails.
Lots more flying fish around. We found 2 on the deck and cockpit this morning. One about 50mm on the deck, but the one on the seat was about 160-170mm long. No meat on them at all. Also saw schools/shoals/flocks of them flying out of the water from the back of waves. What is a group of flying fish called?

Our most recent arrival prediction is now the 14th, at 4.30 in the morning - we'll see! We have now less than 2000 miles to go! We crossed into the tropics last night on Rob's watch, so now we can all say we have been sailing in the tropics.
