Friday 30th November
Its 4.15 in the morning on my (Hugh's) watch, another 45 mins to go. The moon is in the sky and the wind is blowing up to 20 knots, however it is still not taking us the correct course, but at least we are moving westwards.
I read in the ARC news this morning that one of the boats came across an immigrant boat from Africa and had 2 extra people on board, with another entrant standing by till the Spanish arrived at the scene. Another entrant has had to medivac a crew member with scalding. I think he is going onto a ship in the area.
Saw several birds today, but no sea life and no more fish caught. We ate the one we caught the other day for lunch, with salads - it was tasty!
