Cape Bowling Green, 7/8/2016

Still sailing today, must be a record!
We left Upstart Bay this morning after a night with 42 knots of wind. The anchor never budged, but the boat track on the chartplotter was interesting, all zig zags around a single point.
We had a good breeze to this anchorage, sailing with the sails reefed down in the 30+ knots of wind, still doing over 8 knots just the same.
We are now anchored in this enormous bay. We are in the middle of it somewhere, please look at the Yellow Brick tracker for the spot.
No whales or fishing today, but the rod is out at the moment.
All is well on board and we are booked into Townsville Yacht Club Marina for tomorrow night.

G'day Hugh,
How close are you travelling with other members of the Rally?
Are you travelling close with other boats? or pretty much free wheeling on your own?
Weather and winds should be getting a bit more favourable.

hello to all the crew
Amo

On our own at the moment. Might meet others in Cairns, but nearly all are in Whitsundays still.
