140 miles after leaving Bundaburg and 23 hours later, including the dinner stop, we are tied up in the Kepple Bay Marina. We will probably be here for a couple of days as there are weather warnings out.
Although we are in Tropical Queensland it's still very cold at night. We were all rugged up last night and this morning. 37 knots of southerly winds did, however, push us along at up to 11 knots. The roast beef dinner stood us all well, thanks to Peter and Bernie. Cold beef sandwiches too today.
We now have 150 miles to go to Mackay, to be done in 10 days. I think some island exploration may be in order, if it settles down and warms up again.
Photos below are of Cheryl on watch and the seafood platter we had for dinner in Bundaberg.
