I switched off the shore power last night to see how the batteries would hold up. All was well in the morning, only 1/2 volt down, best ever.
This morning we all took the bus and went to Salamander Bay to do some shopping, and met the electrician and his wife. They live on their power boat on this marina. He has never taken the boat off the dock, and she gets sea sick on the dock! On return Bernie made Pumpkin soup, I cleaned the transom where some dirty bilge water had stained the hull and Peter tidied all away.
In the afternoon another bus trip into Nelson Bay area to look around and get a meal. We walked along the marina pathway and found a seafood restaurant, all of us had the Chowder. It was good but not great, then a taxi back to the boat. Heat turned on quickly, as its 3 degrees outside.
Tomorrow morning its off again to anchor at Tuncurry, about 45 miles north of here.
