- This is the blog of Hugh's second round-the-world sail on BlueFlyer, a 49ft Jeanneau. The first trip took Hugh and Val from Dublin to Melbourne in 2007-08. This trip will take Hugh and his crew from Melbourne to South Africa, Brazil, the Caribbean, through the Panama Canal and the Pacific Islands, and back to Melbourne again. Me again, Rachel, Hal and the kids have left for 2 weeks in the S of France so I have the house all to myself. The ground-worker man is here laying the foundations for the patio, now I have to choose the paving. The building work is almost complete but there are a few things to be finished off, how it drags on! Much as I like the builders, it will be good to finish paying them and have the work completely finished. My snagging list is not too bad now I can start to do the garden. I look at your blog first thing every day when I turn on my computer, so don't feel too left out, Becca and Rachel do too. Love, Judith
