After a long break since the last blog, we are making moves again.
Val & I are in the midst of preparations for a circumnavigation of Tasmania, food and fuel is in hand and the engines have been serviced. Bedding, etc is on board. The watermaker is staying ashore for this trip. Just before Christmas we found the engine start battery flat, and so have replaced it with a new one and all is ok on that front.
We plan to depart Sandringham Yacht Club on the 9th and return before the 6th February. All weather dependant of course.
We will have 2 friends with us, Dennis from Killiney, near Dublin; and Richard from Brisbane. Dennis has his own boat, an Amel 53 footer in DunLaoghaire, and he crewed with us down the East coast last year.
