Sorry for nothing earlier, but conditions are quite poor out here.
We left Suva 4 1/2 days late at 3.30 PM and had to head south to clear some islands, then turned west towards Vanuatu at around midnight. Conditions include winds up to force 8 at around 90 KPH (but we think they are gradually moderating) and waves around 3 to 5 metres. We are going well with just the main up with 2 reefs in it - averaging 8 knots over the ground, but hitting 11 every now and again. At these speeds we would have crossed the Atlantic in 15 days, not the 19 we did!
Keeping this blog short - it's hard to type in these conditions!
