We have had a great visit to Grenada, including getting the mainsail repaired. It had torn on a middle panel for no reason anyone could find.
8 days on the Marina cost less than topping up the fuel tanks, not the usual way round.
We all went on the bus tour of the island, and it is a lovely island with friendly and helpful people.
Eventually we sailed away to Dragon Bay, about 3 mails distance! One night there on a mooring buoy and then on to this island. Dragon Bay has one of the sculpture parks to dive on.
On this island we have joined up with Firefly and rented a car to explore. There are main roads (with concrete surface) and secondary roads which are rough dirt tracks. They all have amazing views to make up for the roads.
This morning we visited a traditional boat building business, closed of course as its Sunday.
This afternoon we will explore the southern part and see what's there.
All is well on board, though John and I ran out of fuel on the way back to the boat last night, but the paddles work just fine.
