05.02.2017, Mid-Ocean!

Today has been a bit different. We have been making up a list of repairs to do in Cabedelo after we arrive. However, we got into the list today.

First up was to repair the gas cooker lock. The lock bolt had come loose. Simple enough to replace a missing bolt. While I was there I also cleaned the space under the cooker.

Next came the faulty bilge pump. That turned out to be a broke clamp. Michael M. glued the bits together and I fitted it back with a hose clamp to help.

Michael and Jamie got everything out of the draining locker in the galley. Yesterday we found al the eggs were rotten, so they cleaned up the mess.

After lunch, Michael M, Jamie and I went to the foredeck and added 40 litres of diesel to the generator tank.

Now we are sailing along with a bit over 500 miles to go. The generator is on to charge the batteries and it's also running the aircon.

It's all go here, with deck cleaning yet to be done.

Wow! What a busy day. Don't envy Jamie and Michael having to clean up after the rotten eggs.

We have some new plastimo fittings for Blue Flyers external shower. We just need to find a way to get them to you and you can add fitting them to your list.
