Wonderful day today. The sun shone and it gradually got warmer. Even now at 9.30 pm its still warm. Mind you the first mozzies have appeared too.
We departed the marina at 08.00 this morning and traveled about 300 metres to the fuel dock to top up the tank. Comparatively cheap too at 1.30 per litre.
08.30 and we were off out into the Coral Sea again. Mind you it took about 3 hours to leave Hervey Bay behind, and we could see Fraser Island for hours it's so big. The biggest sand island in the World apparently.
At 3.15 we were tied up in the Port of Bundaberg Marina. We then found that the new, waterproof and expensive plug we fitted to the shore power lead in Mooloolaba would not fit the power pylons here! I had to buy an adaptor lead to convert the plug to the older type socket.
Dinner was had at the local marina restaurant. It was excellent too. Well worth a visit if you find yourself in Bundy.
Tomorrow we will stay here to look around the town and wait for some promised southerly winds, coming on Wednesday.
