Cronulla to Sydney, 16/6/2016

This is Captain Cooks landing place in Botany Bay. Im sure it didnt look like this on his arrival!

We left Cronulla Marina this morning after a pleasant couple of days looking around. As usual on this trip we ended up motoring all the way to the CYCA in Sydney. We paused at a fuel dock to refill, almost 300 litres into the 2 tanks weve been using. Not too bad considering all the motoring.

Botany Bay is a real industrial port, complete with Sydney Airport on one side and a row of big cranes nearby.

The entrance through the heads was spectacular as usual and Eric had fun on the helm all the way. No sailing though.

The crews swop over tomorrow and we plan to leave on Monday, weather permitting of course
