Cruise in Company

We set off from Sandringham in good weather, ie motoring, to Martha Cove for the night, then onto Queenscliff YC for another night. All went well. The following morning 3 boats set off for Oberon Bay on the west side of Wilsons Prom. Only 2 arrived, one power boat dropped out due to the conditions and a faulty auto helm. We motor sailed the whole way at an average 9 knots over the ground. We sat there for a couple of days, then upped anchor and motored round the Prom and into Port Welshpool in anticipation of the westerlies to come, and to refuel. This morning it blew 46 knots in the gusts and steady 35 south westerly. The rain was good too! All is well on the boat, the new generator proving to be reliable and the new Air Fryer is very useful too. It's a shame to cut short the cruise, but we are all in agreement.
