Hey Hugh and Val, Rob & JR
Sounds like you are all having far too much fun.
Decided that it was a good idea to register on the blog finally. That way I might get to it more often.
Airconditioning on a yacht! And an a larcarte menu to die for!
What a way to go.
The electronics problems sound like a pain in the... Just when you start relying on something , and you then have to just look to the stars.
I had a fantastic sail down at the docklands invitational, albeit outclassed. But being that we had 20 minutes to get used to the one design SB3 yachts prior to the race(they had only just been introduced into Australia). I think we did pretty well. That is considering the class world champion and numerous Olympic champions were racing ,as well as a good splattering of keelboat champs. And believe it or not a team from Ireland!. Allup was wonderful to have been one of the 20 teams. And some really good experience. Just gets me hankering to be out on them again. The leave pass from Gabrielle was hard enough to come by, lucky my extended pass was put in prior to her arrival!
