Well, today is the day...we are leaving St Lucia after 5 fantastic weeks of soaking up the sun and enjoying the clear, warm waters and friendly local atmosphere (and food!). We leave at midday today for Panama and the Panama Canal. It's a 1200 mile journey which should take about 6 days. We will probably not be as conservative as we were on the ARC, as it is doubtful that the weather will be as rough, so we expect full sails and good average speeds. We'll let you know how it goes!
