Friday 14th December
We have finally made it, despite a fairly challenging entry into Rodney Bay. Upon landing we were presented with a beautiful hamper containing food and drink and also the infamous glass of rum! I think now the exhaustion and stress of the last 3 weeks has caught up with us and we are feeling very, very tired. So, needless to say, we are very much looking forward to our stay in a hotel here in St Lucia tonight and tomorrow night. I think we might need a sleeping tablet though - as the bed won't be moving!
Anyway, we may not have the opportunity to update the blog quite as regularly now that we are not stuck out in the middle of an ocean, but we will keep it going....
A great big thank you to everyone who left comments on the blog and sent us emails and generally stayed in touch - it made the biggest difference hearing from the "outside" world and we really appreciate it. We will look forward to catching up and chatting greater detail soon.

Well done! Our hearts have been in our mouths for the past 3 days. Just as well you don't have to sail back again!!
Hope the hotel was/is okay. They sounded a big vague when I phoned to book for you.
